An Artboredom venture:

Some street *ish. Some of mine, some of yours - from the web and whatever I run across with my camera.

Some of my conceptual artwork creeping through here. I loved creating things that defied initial expectations. I also like creating perceptive layers. Give the viewer something to see from afar, then add content much smaller to draw them in. Obviously this still is a piece of paper stuck to the side of an electrial box so there’s a limit to what kind of attention is going to be paid to it. The was a precursor to the rest of my paster work.

Maybe it’s short for ‘epsom salts’. Maybe they weren’t jackin’ ESPO and spelled it wrong. Who knows.
Old San Juan, Puerto Rico

We’ll see if I can keep up with all these Tumblrs’ that I’ve started recently. I started 3 new ones including this on top of the original ABD. It makes sense though, I these are all different elements of who I am as an artist that I want to get out but not necessarily have on my main portfolio site.
I know the title of the Postal Service song includes ‘Alone’ but since I was out on the late night creep DC couldn’t very well be alone. This title also recalls the mag While You Were Sleeping or at least the one that featured graffiti back in the day.
I’ll never claim to have been any good nor did I take any unnecessary risks while I was out on the streets. What I will claim is that I was in love with what I was doing and that I was a good student of graffiti in general. It was an experiment. It was me getting out there to say that I did and gain all the experience that comes from grinding.
I love DC at night. You see such a different side of its society when you’re a night addict. I love the smell of its humid summer air. I love the crisp, biting, silence of its winter. I got the most done during the colder months - no one is out. Many times it’s just you and the homeless.
This won’t all be about DC. I’ll be scouring the web for some good shit from all over the world.
